AI Film / Concept / Creative Direction

VELORISAI Brand Film

A brand world becomes a cinematic experience.

Can generative AI deliver a consistent premium brand film? In an independent follow-up project, I translated the VELORIS brand world into an AI-assisted film.

From the creative concept and individual shots to the final edit.

01 / Creative concept

Progress expressed through effortless travel.

The brand was already established: VELORIS stands for “Confident Progress”. The film was intended to express this through a travel experience shaped by direction, attention, calm and space.

The film’s guiding concept, “The Silent Flow”, describes a journey in which effort and restlessness gradually recede. The passenger brings this change to life. Light, architecture and the horizon connect the stages.

02 / My contribution

Setting the direction. Making decisions.

I led the project from its conceptual foundations to the presentation master: film concept, storyboard, image selection, AI production, editing and quality review.

Creative direction meant selecting and coordinating: which shot expresses the brand idea? Which movement feels believable? And which version works alongside the other shots?

03 / Film concept & storyboard

From constraint to ease.

The narrative follows three phases: arrival, experience and openness. These shaped the purpose of each sequence and the visual progression of the storyboard.

The opening frames feel more enclosed. As the film progresses, calm, light and space become more prominent. Recurring horizontal lines give the journey a consistent direction.

01 / Arrival

Proximity and movement.

Weather, movement and a more enclosed frame set the journey in motion.

The passenger is shown to his seat in the softly lit premium cabin.
02 / Experience

Attention and calm.

Clear guidance and personal gestures make the premium promise tangible.

03 / Openness

Light and horizon.

The opening space translates the creative concept into a sense of ease.

04 / AI production

A controlled path from still image to motion.

The six-day process ran from project foundations through film concept and storyboard to AI production, finalisation and presentation. Production followed a recurring cycle of review.

  1. 01

    Keyframe

Define composition, character, lighting and brand cues in the source image.

  2. 02

    Animation

Translate the starting frame into intentional movement.

  3. 03

    Review

Assess movement, identity, spatial logic and continuity.

  4. 04

    Iteration

Identify the cause of an error and correct it precisely.

  5. 05

    Finalisation

Confirm, name and archive the selected shots.

05 / Quality review

A good still does not guarantee a good shot.

Animation revealed whether the source information was clear enough. When a scene was misinterpreted, isolating the problem and refining the source image helped. A longer prompt alone did not necessarily address the cause.

Editing introduced a second level of review: two individually plausible shots could still create a jarring transition. I therefore assessed continuity of identity, movement and space across each cut.

Depending on its effect within the film, I shortened a shot, selected an alternative or regenerated it. The quality of the complete sequence was what mattered.

06 / Outcome & reflections

Creative direction brings the pieces together.

The result is a 1:25-minute brand film for the fictional airline VELORIS. As a proof of concept, it explores the possibilities and limitations of an AI-assisted film production process from start to finish.

The main takeaway: quality comes from clear references, targeted diagnosis and disciplined selection. Reviewing still images is not enough; movement and editing reveal whether the brand world holds together.
